The 2009 Molson Canadian Hamilton Bulldogs Charity Golf Classic will be held on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 at Beverly Golf and Country Club in Copetown, Ontario. Honourary Co-Chair Harry Howell, the 2009-2010 Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey team as well as past members of the Montreal Canadiens will be attending this event.
Last year, this charity event raised over $40,000 for the Bulldogs Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton & Burlington. This year, we hope to exceed that total as proceeds from the Molson Canadian Hamilton Bulldogs Charity Golf Classic will once again support the great work being done by the Bulldogs Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton & Burlington.
The mission of the Bulldogs Foundation is to enrich the lives of children and youth in the Greater Hamilton Area through the assignment of tickets, cash donations and gifts in kind. By doing so, it aims to promote the creativity of interactive programs involving education, physical fitness and personal well-being.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton & Burlington is an organization that provides leadership and support to children through their hands-on work with parents, in-school mentoring, and volunteer support initiatives. Big Brothers Big Sisters programs have proven to be effective at helping boys and girls to stay in school, stay off drugs and out of trouble.
