MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced that 22 prospects will participate in the first of two development camps, set to take place from June 1st - 5th at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, Quebec.
The list of participating players includes several players drafted by Montreal as well as players invited as try-outs. There are four players attending that played for the Bulldogs this past regular season and post-season: Hunter Bishop, Gabriel Dumont, Olivier Fortier and Dany Masse.
The Canadiens prospects will first take to the ice today from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The development camp consists of two on-ice sessions daily until June 5th on both ice surfaces at the Bell Sports Complex (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Off-ice conditioning sessions are also scheduled each day.
A second development camp, to include players to be selected at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft held on June 25th - 26th in Los Angeles, will take place from July 6th - 9th at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.
