The Hamilton Bulldogs in conjunction with The Home Depot, the City of Hamilton and the Bulldogs Foundation held a community practice on the morning of Tuesday, February 9th at Chedoke Twin Pad Arena. The community practice was held to celebrate The Home Depot and the City of Hamilton's initiative to retrofit Chedoke Twin Pad Arena with accommodations for people with special needs.
The stands were packed with children from two local schools, who cheered on their favourite Bulldogs players as the team went through a full practice at Chedoke Twin Pad Arena in which the players wore unique practice jerseys that were signed by each player and donated to The Home Depot for the cause following the practice. Near the end of the practice, Head Coach Guy Boucher welcomed local sledge hockey players onto the ice, where they demonstrated how to play sledge hockey to the 'Dogs team.
The Bulldogs will travel to Cleveland to battle the Lake Erie Monsters on Friday, February 12th at 7:30 p.m.
