MONTREAL, QUE (December 4, 2011) – Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Palushaj, 22, played in 15 games for Montreal this season and had four blocked shots, seven shots on goal, and averaged 6:36 of ice time per game. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward has played in seven games with the Bulldogs this season recording eight points (1 goal, 7 assists) with 20 shots on goal. Palushaj, a native of Livonia, Michigan, competed in 68 games with the ‘Dogs in 2010-2011, posting 57 points (22 goals, 35 assists).
The Bulldogs continue their home stay on Tuesday, December 6th, at 7:30 p.m. when they face the Adirondack Phantoms at Copps Coliseum.
