The Bulldogs Foundation announced that the proceeds from the Bulldogs "My Favourite Things" raffle have been donated to the Children's Aid Society. The donation was used to buy Christmas gifts for four families in need in the Hamilton area.
The Bulldogs Foundation raised the money by hosting the Bulldogs "My Favourite Things" raffle in which fans would purchase raffle tickets to try and win gift baskets that were created by each player and consisted of their favourite items. All the money raised was used to buy the gifts for the four families in need.
In addition to the gifts, the Bulldogs foundation donated over 500 stuffed toys to the Children's Aid Society. The stuffed toys were collected from the Bulldogs "Stuffed Toy Toss Night" that was held on December 13th and saw 1,550 stuffed toys thrown onto the ice. The remaining stuffed toys will be donated to Interval House of Hamilton, the Salvation Army and various other charitable groups in the Hamilton area.
