RYAN RUSSELL RE-ASSIGNED TO CINCINNATI CYCLONES

Russell has been assigned to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL

March 20, 2008 HAMILTON, ON – The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that forward Ryan Russell has been re-assigned by the Montreal Canadiens to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Russell, 20, has appeared in 25 AHL games with Hamilton this season, notching two goals and an assist with a minus-6 rating and four penalty minutes. The 5-foot-10, 171-pound centreman made his AHL debut on October 7th, 2007 in Rochester versus the Americans, and tallied his first-career goal and point on December 27th, 2007 against the Manitoba Moose.

The native of Caroline, Alberta has also played three games with the Cyclones in the ECHL this season, registering an assist, six shots and a plus-1 rating.

The defending Calder Cup Champion Hamilton Bulldogs return to action at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21st when they host the Toronto Marlies at Copps Coliseum.
