Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network Play-by-Play Announcer

Matt Holmes is a seasoned Hamilton radio broadcaster with over 10 years of experience. He got his start in the industry in 2004 with AM 900 CHML and before joining the Hamilton Bulldogs as play-by-play announcer / communications coordinator in September of 2014, he worked as a news reporter, sports anchor and talk show host.

His depth of experience as an on-air personality also includes work as host of both the Hamilton Tiger-Cats pre-game show and the Bulldogs post-game show on CHML, as well as eight seasons of Hamilton Red Wings hockey play-by-play. Holmes was born and raised on Hamilton Mountain and is a graduate of Mohawk College.

Risidore, 39, was selected 109th overall by the Hartford Whalers in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He played eight seasons, 398 games, of professional hockey from 1996-2004.

He played his junior career with the Guelph Storm from 1993-1996. During his time in Guelph the Storm played in two OHL Championships and the Memorial Cup in 1996.

Among his time in the American Hockey League, Risidore suited up for the Hamilton Bulldogs during the 1999-2001 seasons and picked up five goals and 25 assists from the blueline.

Ryan will be in the booth for all home games and select road games during the 2015-16 season.
