The Bulldogs Foundation
ENRICHING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN THE GREATER HAMILTON COMMUNITY
The Bulldogs Foundation was created in 2007 with a mission to enrich the lives of children and youth in the greater Hamilton area, through the donation of cash, gifts in kind, and Hamilton Bulldogs game tickets. The Foundation’s main purpose is to strengthen and broaden the base of the Hamilton Bulldogs community support, by providing funds and gifts in kind to non-profit community groups, and by supporting educational and community programs such as its’ Dawgs Breakfast, Stick With School, and Agree to Read initiatives.
The Bulldogs Foundation arose out of the community relations efforts of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club from its inception in 1996, which were elevated to another level with the infusion of local ownership in 2002 and advanced further in 2004 led by current Bulldogs Owner and Foundation Chairman Michael Andlauer.
