MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN – The Hamilton Bulldogs (20-21-0-4) will look to put an end to a four-game losing streak tonight when they visit the Milwaukee Admirals (21-13-6-4) at BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Tonight’s game will be the first of two games between the Bulldogs and Admirals this season, as well as the only match up in Milwaukee. Hamilton went 0-2-0-0 against Milwaukee last season and the ‘Dogs hold an all-time record of 14-14-1-1-2 against the Admirals.

The Bulldogs have lost four straight contests and are currently mired in their worst road losing streak of the year, having dropped the first three games of this six-game road swing. Most recently, they fell 6-4 last night to the Rockford IceHogs in Rockford, Illinois.

The Admirals have earned 10 points this season in overtime and shootout losses, more than any other team in the American Hockey League. That trend has held true through their most recent contests as well, having earned points in each of their past three games, despite losing two, with a record of 1-0-1-1. They’ve also won just four of their past 10 games, but they’ve earned points in eight of their past 10, with a record of  4-2-1-3.

Quick Notes
- There are currently four Ontario-born players on the Admirals roster: F Kevin Henderson (Toronto), F Michael Liambas (Woodbridge), D Scott Valentine (Ottawa) and D Bryan Rodney (London).
- Milwaukee goaltender Scott Darling, who played in one game for the Bulldogs last season, currently leads his team in goals-against average (2.18) and save percentage (.930). He’s also fourth in the AHL in shutouts with three.
- Admirals leading scorer, rookie forward Miikka Salomaki, has notched five points (one goal, four assists) during a current three-game scoring streak.
- Last night in Rockford, Bulldogs rookie forward Sven Andrighetto notched three assists and four points – both single-game season highs for Hamilton this season.
- Hamilton forward Christian Thomas is currently enjoying a three-game goal streak.
- Scoring the game’s first goal has proven critical to the ‘Dogs success this season. When they score first, they hold a record of 14-3-0-3. When they’re scored on first, they hold a record of 6-18-0-1.
