Hamilton, Ontario – The Oklahoma City Barons defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 4-0 on Sunday night at Copps Coliseum.  Jonathan Cheechoo, Toni Rajala and Mark Arcobello each had a goal and an assist and Yann Danis stopped 24 shots for the shutout.

The Barons opened the scoring at 3:41 of the opening frame on a goal by Philippe Cornet.  Garrett Stafford took a shot which was stopped and the rebound dropped and bounced to Cornet in the crease who batted the puck by Hamilton Bulldogs starting goaltender Jacob Gervais-Chouinard.  Arcobello notched an unassisted tally 30 seconds later at 4:11 to make it 2-0 for Oklahoma City.

The Barons grabbed a 3-0 lead on Cheechoo’s 11th goal of the season at 9:26 of the second stanza on the power play.  Rajala flew down the left side and threw the puck to Cheechoo in the slot who banged in his own rebound past Gervais-Chouinard.

Rajala notched an unassisted goal at 9:11 of the third period as he picked up a loose puck from the bottom of the right circle and buried it into the back of the net.  Oklahoma City outshot Hamilton by a count of 40-24 to finish the game.
