HAMILTON, ONTARIO – The Hamilton Bulldogs and Global Spectrum are proud to announce a major partnership with one of the world’s leading breweries, Molson Coors Canada Inc.

Molson Canadian will continue to be the official beer of the American Hockey League’s Hamilton Bulldogs and will have access to team logos and branding, along with various signage and activation rights. As the official beer of the Bulldogs, Molson Canadian will be the presenting sponsor of the Bulldogs’ 2013-2014 season and Molson Coors will be the exclusive beer supplier for Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place, and Molson Canadian Studio.

“We look forward to working with Molson Coors for the next three years and activating the Molson Canadian brand in our buildings,” said Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz. “Molson Coors Canada has been a partner of the Bulldogs for the past 17 seasons and we look forward to celebrating our 20th season with them in 2015-2016.”

“We are thrilled about being able to offer our Hockey, Concert and Event fans the best portfolio of beers in all of Canada.” said Global Spectrum’s Scott Warren, General Manager of Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place and Molson Canadian Studio. “This upcoming season is sure to bring a whole new level of excitement to our fans, uniting the best in live entertainment with the best in beers.”

“We are very pleased to be able to partner with the region’s most iconic music and sporting entertainment venues,” said Brian Campbell, District Sales Manager for Molson Coors Canada. “Our long and successful relationship with the Bulldogs has given us the solid groundwork for this outstanding partnership with Global Spectrum’s Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place and the Molson Canadian Studio,” said Campbell.

The Hamilton Bulldogs have served as the American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Montreal Canadiens since the 2002-2003 season. During their 11 seasons as the Canadiens’ affiliate, the Bulldogs have been one of the most successful AHL teams on the ice, competing in four Conference Finals (2003, 2007, 2010, 2011) and two Calder Cup Finals (2003, 2007), capturing the City of Hamilton’s first professional hockey championship in 2007.

During the team’s 17 seasons in Hamilton, more than 170 Bulldogs players have gone on to play in the NHL. Having served as the primary tenant at Hamilton’s Copps Coliseum since the 1996-1997 season, the Bulldogs are the seventh-longest tenured team in the AHL and the longest-serving non-NHL professional hockey franchise in Canada.

Global Spectrum manages Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place, Molson Canadian Studio as well as more than 115 public assembly facilities around the world. Nearly 23 million people attended more than 15,000 events in Global Spectrum venues last year. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Global Spectrum is part of Comcast-Spectacor, one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment companies. Comcast-Spectacor also owns the Philadelphia Flyers, Ovations Food Services, New Era Tickets, Paciolan, Front Row Marketing Services and Flyers Skate Zone.
