HAMILTON, ONTARIO – There will be a battle of division leaders tonight at Copps Coliseum as the Hamilton Bulldogs (5-2-0-2) host the Abbotsford Heat (6-4-0-1) in the first of eight meetings between the two clubs this season.

The Bulldogs took over sole possession of first place in the North Division after last night’s 2-1 overtime win over the Toronto Marlies. The ‘Dogs have only two losses in regulation through nine games, both of which came against the Marlies. Each of Hamilton’s nine contests this season have been decided by one goal.

The Heat is on a bit of a roll as of late, winning three of its past four games, including a 4-3 win over the Utica Comets in Utica, New York, last night.

In eight meetings last season, Hamilton was 4-3-0-1 against Abbotsford.
