ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA – The Hamilton Bulldogs (16-14-0-4) will look to establish a season-best five-game winning streak tonight in Abbotsford, British Columbia as they take on the American Hockey League’s West Division-leading Abbotsford Heat (23-10-1-1) for the second consecutive evening at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Tonight’s game is the fourth of eight match ups between the Bulldogs and Heat this season, as well as the second of four meetings in Abbotsford. Last night, the ‘Dogs earned their first win of the season against the Heat in a 2-1 nail biter in Abbotsford.  Hamilton’s record this season against Abbotsford is 1-0-0-2.

Hamilton is now on its best run of the season, with a season-high five-game point streak. The Bulldogs have also won four straight, which ties their longest winning streak so far this year.

With last night’s loss, Abbotsford had a three-game winning streak snapped. Despite the defeat to the Bulldogs, the Heat has still won six of its past 10 games and maintains a one-point cushion in first place in the West Division.
