GAME PREVIEW: AMERICANS @ BULLDOGS

HAMILTON, ONTARIO – The Hamilton Bulldogs (18-14-0-4) head into tonight’s game against the Rochester Americans (14-14-3-3) as the hottest team in the American Hockey League as they look for a seventh consecutive win at Copps Coliseum at 7:00 p.m.

Tonight’s game marks the sixth of eight meetings between the Bulldogs and Americans this season. So far this season, Hamilton holds a 2-3-0-0 record against Rochester. These two teams are finishing a home-and-home series tonight, after the ‘Dogs topped the Amerks 2-1 last night at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. The Bulldogs have a 74-81-7-0-7 record all-time against the Americans.

Rochester is reeling a bit as of late, having lost three straight contests and five of its past six games entering tonight. The Amerks have managed just one goal for in each of their past three games.

As mentioned, the Bulldogs are currently the hottest team in the AHL, having won six straight games and earned points in seven straight.
