HAMILTON, ONTARIO – The Hamilton Bulldogs (19-15-0-4) will look to keep their recent hot streak going tonight as they host the Utica Comets (11-20-2-3) at 7:00 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.

Today’s game is the fourth and final meeting between the Bulldogs and Comets this season, as well as Utica’s second-ever visit to Copps Coliseum. So far this season, Hamilton has taken two of three games against their new division rivals. The ‘Dogs won the last match up between these two clubs 4-3 in a shootout on December 28th at Utica Memorial Auditorium in Utica, New York.

Utica has been one of the coldest teams in the American Hockey League as of late, with six straight losses and just two wins in their past 10 games. The Comets fell 8-3 to the Albany Devils last night at home.

The Bulldogs remain one of the hottest teams in the AHL, with wins in seven of their past eight contests and points in eight of their past nine. Hamilton’s last game was this past Sunday at home, when they defeated the Iowa Wild 3-1.

Quick Notes
- There are currently eight Ontario-born players on the Comets roster: F Alex Friesen (St. Catharines), F Jeremy Welsh (Bayfield), F Cal O’Reilly (Toronto), F Brandon DeFazio (Etobicoke), F Darren Archibald (Newmarket), F Patrick Kennedy (Dorchester), D Frank Corrado (Woodbridge) and D Kent Huskins (Almonte).
- Comets leading scorer, forward Pascal Pelletier, has eight points in seven games in January.
- Bulldogs goaltender Dustin Tokarski is tied for fourth in the AHL in goals-against average (2.09) and tied for fifth in save percentage (.928).
- Hamilton rookie forward Stefan Fournier leads all ‘Dogs in penalty minutes this season with 75.
