ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA – The last time the Hamilton Bulldogs (20-18-0-4) visited the Abbotsford Heat (26-14-3-1), the Bulldogs were in the midst of their season-best six-game winning streak. The ‘Dogs will look to keep their current six-game road winning streak alive Friday night as they take on the Heat in the first of two weekend games at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre in Abbotsford, British Columbia at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Tonight’s game marks the fifth match up between the Bulldogs and Heat this season, as well as the third of four meetings scheduled at Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre in 2013-2014. The ‘Dogs have managed to pick up at least a point in all four meetings against the Heat so far this season, holding a 2-0-0-2 record overall. Hamilton swept a weekend series in Abbotsford with back-to-back wins on January 3rd and 4th. The Heat has edged the Bulldogs 3-2 in a shootout in both meetings in Hamilton this season.

The ‘Dogs are coming off a three-games-in-three-nights stretch last weekend in which they lost two of three. However, with a convincing 6-2 win over the Lake Erie Monsters last Saturday in Cleveland, Ohio, Hamilton extended its season-best road winning streak to six games.

The Heat, though just four points out of first place in the American Hockey League’s Western Conference, has dropped three of its past four games as well as seven of its past 10. The club is coming off back-to-back overtime losses last weekend at home to the Utica Comets, the last-place team in the Western Conference.

Leblanc is currently in a four-way tie for the team lead in goals with nine. Forwards Sven Andrighetto, Gabriel Dumont and Nick Tarnasky are the other leaders in goals.
- Hamilton goaltender Dustin Tokarski was added to the AHL All-Star roster this week, replacing Manchester Monarchs goaltender Martin Jones, who was recalled by the Los Angeles Kings. Tokarski is currently fourth in the AHL in goals-against average (2.09) and fifth in save percentage (.928).
